The Indonesian Railway (Indonesian: PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)) is the major operator of public railways in Indonesia. It is completely owned by the government and pays track access charges to the government. One of its subsidiaries, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Commuter Jabodetabek (KCJ), is operating electrified commuter service in Jakarta metropolitan area from August 14, 2008.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is the modern incarnation of a long line of successive state railway companies dating from Dutch colonial days. The first railway line in Indonesia began operations on August 10, 1867 in Central Java connected the first built Semarang station to Tanggung for 25 kilometers.[1] By May 21, 1873, the line had connected three main cities in the region, i.e. [Semarang], Solo and Yogyakarta. This line was operated by a private company, Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij (NIS: Netherlands East Indies Railway Company).

Qualifications
  • Possess Bachelor / Master degree from State / Private University with accreditation score A on the date of graduation and minimum GPA 3.00
  • Having specific expertise is proved by an Accountant Registers Certificate pass in PPAk, and having Brevet A and B certificates
  • Well-behaved proved by a Police Notes from Polri
  • Maximum age 40 years old by March 31, 2014
  • Proficient in English, proved by a TOEFL Certificate (Internet Based Test / IBT) with minimum score 80 or equivalent
  • Able-bodied and not color blind
  • Never involved with illegal drugs and or psychotropic
  • Not tattooed both for male and female
  • Willing to be placed throughout the PT Kereta Api (Persero) operational area
  • Having relevant work experience:
    • At a Big Four International Public Accounting Firm (‎PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited and KPMG) at least 3 years from the date of graduation or at least 4 years at National Public Accounting Firm
    • And or experienced as a Senior Auditor or Senior Consultant Advisor Services at least 4 years from the date of graduation

  • Legalized copy of Bachelor / Master degree transcript
  • Copy of a valid National Identity Card (KTP)
  • Color photograph
  • Copy of Register Accountants, Brevet Brevet A and B certificates
  • Curriculum vitae, list all working experience in any agency, (skill / vocational) certificates, the highest diploma if any
  • Application letter signed on the Rp. 6.000 stamp-duty
  • Copy of Accreditation Certificate of the Department / Study Program on the date of graduation, from BAN PT and or legalized by the faculty / university
  • Drug-free certificate from the competent authority
  • A valid Police Notes (SKCK) from Police Department
  • Certificate / working experience in any agency
  • Statement letter stated not currently under working bond (ikatan kerja langsung) with other instutions or PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)
